Texas A&M University's online master's program in education for veterans is ranked No. 4 nationally and several education and engineering programs are rated among the nation's best in U.S. News and World Report's 2021 Best Online Programs.
In all, Texas A&M is highly ranked in 18 programs.
In educational programs, the school is ranked No. 6 in master's degree program in curriculum and instruction, No. 8 in graduate special education programs and No. 9 in graduate educational administration programs and instructional media programs.
In engineering, the publication ranks Texas A&M No. 6 in graduate industrial engineering, No. 8 in electrical engineering and engineering management programs and No. 9 civil engineering. The graduate program in mechanical engineering is ranked No. 11.
Texas A&M's graduate program in nursing also fares well and is ranked No. 9.
The publication notes that since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic that has disrupted college classes throughout the country, the need for quality online programs has never been greater.
